Co-Ni Alloy Plating(Tough Alloy II)

The special metal which is easily oxidized by heat is adopted. High hardness and low kinetic friction are obtained by this oxidized layer of the surface. And this metal cannot change in the crystal grain by heat easily. On the very fine surface specially oxidized under the influence of heat cycle, its thickness and stability being increased as the temperature raising up.

This special metal is the optimal as plating on high-speed or soft cooling casting mold, because the melting point of the sulfide of this metal is high as compared with that of nickel sulfide, so it is hard to crack by heat cycle.
